Monika’s yoga journey began in 2012. From then on out she decided to share her passion for yoga by spreading her expertise and knowledge onto others. In 2013, Monika expanded her background and took Ananda Yoga teacher training course as well as completing her RYT certification. In addition she continues to pursue a diverse background in yoga. Recently she has been enrolled in the YRT 500 hour certification program with Yogaspace along being a member of the Canadian Yoga Alliance. This ongoing process of learning is what provides the fresh insights that inspire her teaching. Monika believes that the mind, body and soul are all connected. A connection that should be nurtured and inspired. As a yoga instructor she strives to bring a sense of fun, freedom and kindness to her classes. Anyone who participates in her practice takes a piece of yogic wisdom with them. Her classes tend to be vinyasa-based (linking breath with movement) with strong emphasis on alignment.
